Clients Frequently asked questions

There's a number of items that can trigger a False Alarm. This includes but is not limited to improper passcode, semi-dead or dead batteries,a motion sensor, or failing hardware device. It is therefore essential to always monitor the battery or review the details of the alarm to determine if there is a failure on any of the devices.

If you have been locked out of your system, the most common issue is that the passcode entered was incorrect. Please make sure you enter the correct passcode. If you do not recall your passcode, the system must be reset to it's original state. If you purchased the equipment through us, we will be happy to help you troubleshoot over-the-phone at a fee of thirty-five dollars per call. To avoid this issue, we highly recommend that you assign a second administrator to your system whom you trust and/or keep the passcode in a secured place.

While we do not have specific devices for pet protection, we strongly recommend that you share your pet's details with Central Station. This way, in the event of a fire, they can relay essential information to first responders, ensuring your furry family members are taken care of. Your pet's safety matters to us!

To cancel your services, we ask for a 30-day written notice that includes a detailed reason for your cancellation. While our agreement typically covers cancellations due to equipment loss from a fire, or moving or selling property, we undertand that other circumstances may arise. We will take all factors into consideration upon receiving your written notification. Your needs are important to us!

We do not recommend removal of the system. Keep in mind that sometimes, removing the equipment may not be practical, especially if the system is obsolete and no longer supported by the original vendor, particularly if it has been in use for over a year or you are moving away from the area. In addition, we cannot guarantee that the equipment will work as intended after removal. It is best for you to leverage it as a way to increase the value of the house if selling.
